Vladimir Ilyichev stressed that Russia is systematically strengthening trade ties with the African and Middle Eastern regions.

Russia’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach noted that the share of partners from CIS countries in Russia's foreign trade is growing.

Presidential Aide Nikolay Patrushev, who is in charge of national maritime policy, noted that "the fishing industry, which is one of the key sectors of the Russian economy, is entering a period of large-scale modernization".

At the same time, annual inflation in Russia in June 2024 accelerated to 8.59% against 8.3% in May.

The positive trend is observed across almost all lines of the industry, Mikhail Mishustin noted.

The ministry also noted that execution of instructions on implementation of the President’s Address to the Federal Council, including regarding financing of programs for development and formation of perspective financial plan for 2025-2030, is ensured.

The international industrial trade fair Innoprom is taking place in Yekaterinburg on July 8-11.

"The annual capacity is about 70 mln units which almost fully cover the domestic market need in the car and truck tire segment," the statement reads.

Russia’s international reserves edged down by $2.6 bln over the week and totaled $590.5 bln as of June 28, 2024, the Central Bank said.

The move "will facilitate the formation of technological sovereignty in the area of pharma and medical industry," Mikhail Mishustin stressed.
